About Active Tree Services Pty Ltd
Tree and vegetation management company in Edwardstown, SA, covering tree planting, pruning and urban forestry.
Active Tree Services Pty Ltd is a tree and vegetation management business based at Edwardstown in Adelaide's south-west, working across suburbs including Colonel Light Gardens, Goodwood, Mitchell Park, Morphettville, Panorama and Plympton. Its work centres on the full life cycle of trees, from design and planning through to planting, maintenance and removal of vegetation near essential infrastructure.
The business handles tree planting and establishment, tree watering, formative pruning, urban forestry and ongoing tree management and maintenance. It also describes itself as a utility contractor, with vegetation management work aimed at keeping essential services running and reducing bushfire risk, and it works with government and commercial clients as well as communities. Its crews use equipment such as chippers, mulchers, tree trimmers, telescopic handlers and elevated work platforms. The listing is filed under electricians, but the work described is arboriculture and vegetation management rather than electrical work, so it is worth confirming the scope of any job directly with the business.

“The team has topped two of my young birch trees that were not even close to the power line. And yet, there is a gnarly old gum branch over the top of the line and almost touching it that remains in place. Go figure.”

“This company is an absolute disgrace. I live on a corner block and always maintain my footpath and associated garden beds in an immaculate fashion. I constructed and have revised them over the years at a substantial coat. I actually pay garden landscapers to maintain the lawn and garden beds. On Thursday 30 July a contractor/employee from this company trimmed bottlebrush trees adjacent our eastern boundary leaving an absolute trail of destruction (wood chips, branches, leaves etc in garden beds, footpath, driveway and on the road). Hand your heads in absolute shame!”

“Absolutely decimated all of the Jacarandas on our street today and dropped branches and debris all over my previously immaculately kept Audi parked on the street. No pre warning or letterbox drop prior so they decided to press on right onto of my car. Completely butchered the ancient trees the entire way along the street. Absolutely shameful.”
