“What is happening over at BCS Electrical? I called and spoke to receptionist (whom I shall refer to as C) on the morning of Thursday, 21 May to enquire as to when an electrician could come to my property which is approx. 11 km from their workshop. I needed my oven and cooktop reconnected after a kitchen renovation. C told me she would see what she could arrange, and asked if I could leave my request with her and she would get back to me. 24 hours passed and C had not contacted me, and so I phoned again. C said yet again that she would need to get back to me. A weekend (the business does not operate on Saturdays or Sundays) and nearly a full day later I have still not heard back from BCS. I had told C my matter was not urgent, but I would have appreciated knowing just when my reconnection was likely to occur. I find the lack of customer service quite astounding. I have had work done by BCS in the past and they have always been very efficient. I have now phoned another business who are sending someone out late today. A late postscript : I see I have a missed call from BCS which was made 10 minutes before their closing time today and after I had posted my original review. Too late, I'”

“Rang Monday morning because we had no electricity in our caravan and annexe. The amazing Andy came the same day. Replaced the element in the hot water system which was tripping the power on one line. Apparently the reset button had accidentally been pressed creating the overall loss of power. Very clean, tidy, quick work at a good price with excellent customer service from the office staff and from Andy. They phoned again after the work was done to confirm that we were still happy with their electrical work, had no further problems and to let us know that our payment had been received. Will very happily use this company again in the future after such a terrific stress-free experience.”
