About KoulElec
Electrician based in Sydenham, VIC for switchboard upgrades, EV chargers, lighting, security and data work.
KoulElec is an electrical contracting business based in Sydenham, working across Melbourne's western and northern suburbs and beyond. The team handles residential and commercial jobs, from switchboard upgrades and house rewiring to fault finding, safety inspections and emergency repairs when power drops out or circuits keep tripping.
Lighting and power work covers LED downlights, feature lighting, powerpoints, USB outlets and switches, plus ceiling fans, smoke alarms, ovens and cooktops. Security and data jobs include CCTV, network points and data cabling, and the business also fits EV chargers and split systems. The owner is a licensed electrician with a long background in the trade, and the approach is to explain the scope before work starts, then test the finished installation. Typical electrical work such as new circuits and general wiring is also part of the trade's usual scope, so it is worth asking about anything not listed here.

“Christian did an excellent job of installing new cameras, re-wiring my sound system and installing new audio products. Communication was great all the way through as he regularly asked me how I wanted certain things installed. He also caused minimal disruption to my business during the works and left the place spotless afterwards. His pricing was quite reasonable also. I would definitely ask him to do more work for me in future.”
