On both of these occasions I caught him out, stretching the truth and spinning a little B/S to make a quick buck, but I let it pass. James was given a good description for the scope of the works to be carried out over ONE morning, Friday 6th Oct 7.15 – 11.15am “Hi James Thanks for the reassurance. I genuinely appreciate your support on this project! As per our conversation, here's the brief summary of the works to be carried out tomorrow from 7.15am-11.15am -relocate 2 infra-red panels from the back of the studio to the centre (all pre wiring is in place) -switch out 6 lights in studio for warm flush ceiling downlighting. As pictured. -remove small split system and all cables and outdoor unit. -relocate existing exit sign to above new front door. I will be onsite to assist in any way I can to ensure a smooth and seamless flow. Tomorrow we can go over Monday' schedule. “I rang James (long distance from Sydney) when my mother-in-law in Melbourne who suffers some dementia suddenly had all her kitchen power disappear. Every time my husband tried to talk her through flipping the safety switch on the fuse box back on, it would trip again and she couldn't tell us what appliance she was using that caused the switch to trip again. I googled electricians and found James at Switched Electrical and he was fantastic. He turned up within half an hour, checked all the kitchen appliances, and diagnosed the problem as a faulty kettle. Not only did he ring me back to keep me informed, he sought (and got) my permission to take the jug away so that she couldn't forget, use the jug and trip the safety switch again. He was absolutely incredible. I now have his number in my phone contacts for the next time my mum-in-law has an electrical problem. And to top it all off he didn't charge for the service!! A tradie to treasure. Caring and professional. Thank you James.”
